If there were a leadership yearbook, what would your yearbook superlative be and why?

“Just Do It”

What is one of your proudest leadership moments during the past year and why? Feel free to share more than one.

Recently, a member from my facility, who had been asked numerous times, came to me and said “I want to do COPE”, I knew that I was finally getting through to
my members about why it all matters. (Desert Regional Medical Center)

Looking ahead to this year, what do you want to be the next step in your development as a leader? How will that step help our movement for economic and racial justice?

Gisella is committed to building a stronger union. She commits 100 percent of herself to the struggle, whether it means talking to non union healthcare workers with our organizing team; attending lobby visits to fight for healthcare funding or being active in AFRAM.
