If there were a leadership yearbook, what would your yearbook superlative be and why?

“Ms. Fiesty”

What is one of your proudest leadership moments during the past year and why? Feel free to share more than one.

I was proudest when we figured out how to bring community members into active participation in our union. When I look back it was those conversations that helped us win minimum wage.

Looking ahead to this year, what do you want to be the next step in your development as a leader? How will that step help our movement for economic and racial justice?

Evelia is the leader that challenges other leaders. As part of the contract specialist team I have witnessed Evalia challenge her peers on COPE and other
performance goals. Evelia is committed to real leadership by fearlessly having the tough conversations. (Kaiser South Bay)
