If there were a leadership yearbook, what would your yearbook superlative be and why?
My ability to turnout members not just for the contract campaign but also actions and meetings. So the superlative would be fiercest turnout machine.
What is one of your proudest leadership moments during the past year and why? Feel free to share more than one.
We turned a negative into a positive during a decert campaign in Lansing, Michigan. In three days of housevisits and meetings, we were able to secure a victory by a nearly 3 to 1 margin.
Looking ahead to this year, what do you want to be the next step in your development as a leader? How will that step help our movement for economic and racial justice?
My goal is to organize at the level with the owners, so that we can force changes throughout the city, not just for the membership. Moving Michigan to a new level.
